Measurement

We use a variety of techniques to measure leadership potential, competencies and technical skills.  All tools are tailored to measure what is critical for success.

Situational Judgement Tests

Situational Judgment Tests (SJTs) are a type of aptitude/psychometric test that measure behaviours and attitude of a person in work-related situations. This type of test presents candidates challenging situations that they might experience in the job for which they are applying, to measure decision-making skills. For each situation, several possible actions are presented and candidates have to identify the most and the least effective answers to solve the problem described.

Biographical Interviews

Our biographical interview is focused to explore foundational influences and pivotal transitions in an individual's life.  We get beneath the surface to understand their unique personal and leadership style and help individuals to unlock their potential.

Measuring Potential

Using a blend of tests and tools, we measure an individual's motivation, drive, aptitude, ambition and cognitve ability.  Combined with our research into leadership transitions, this gives us an indication of the individual's longer term potential to move upwards into more senior leadership positions.

Simulation based exercises

We design simulation based exercises to replicate the real challenges individuals may face in the target role.  Exercises include 1:1 role plays, inbox activities, groups exercises, strategy case studies and presentations.  We typically combine a blend of exercises into an assessment centre format to provide a highly valid and rounded picture of a candidate against key competencies.
